About Us
Erskine’s Mission: The Mission of Erskine College is to equip students to flourish by providing an excellent liberal arts education in a Christ-centered environment where learning and biblical truth are integrated to develop the whole person.
Erskine College is about CONNECTIONS. Choosing Erskine is not just going to college. It’s about being part of it and thriving through close relationships with Christ, fellow students, faculty, staff, and alumni. It’s about developing the whole person by giving students the tools to succeed both professionally and personally.
Forever Connected in CHRIST. The Erskine Experience is more than just an education. Erskine students understand that to make a difference in the world, hearts need to be changed, relationships developed and faith exercised. We believe that it is not only important what our students become, but also who they become. Erskine students are challenged by Christian faculty, engaged by their fellow students and prepared to go into the world to pursue God’s calling.
Forever Connected in LEARNING. Our academic program has been recognized by US News & World Report as one of the best Baccalaureate Colleges in the South, and rated nationally as a “Best Buy” by Forbes.com’s Best Colleges Guide. Our approach is different. We believe smaller class size creates a better educational environment.
Forever Connected in LIFE. Our students develop lifelong relationships with the faculty and staff and experience college on a “first name” basis. Our faculty will tell you that they teach students, not classes. The faculty are not just mentors for their students during their four years at Erskine; they are lifetime mentors! We often hear that being part of the student body at Erskine is like being part of a big family. The bonds formed at Erskine serve as a stepping-stone for future success.
Through CHRIST, LEARNING and LIFE, Erskine students are forever connected.
