Sosulski will start the new job on July 1. He replaces Dennis Wiseman, who is retiring at the end of the school year.
“Dr. Sosulski brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Wofford College,” Wofford President Nayef Samhat said in a statement. “He has a firm grasp on Wofford’s commitment to providing transformative educational experiences for students both inside and outside the classroom.”
During his time at Kalamazoo College, Sosulski served as a director of media studies and dean of the sophomore class. He also has taught at Pacific Lutheran University in Washington and Valparaiso University in Indiana.
Sosulski holds a PhD in Germanic studies from the University of Chicago.
